HuMENA’s work on Palestine encompasses civic space, the protection of defenders and journalists, documentation of rights violations, and advocacy for accountability. The situation in Gaza has intensified the urgency of this work, with devastating impacts on civilian life, infrastructure, and the conditions for any civic or humanitarian action.
HuMENA issues statements on specific cases and developments, contributes to coalition advocacy, and works with partners to document and respond to the evolving human rights situation.
