Anas Younes is a theater practitioner and cultural researcher with extensive experience working with various cultural and artistic institutions, both in artistic and managerial roles. Anas is an academic researcher specializing in cultural production and the sociology of culture. He has several theatrical experiences and performances within alternative cultural spaces, where balancing mainstream culture with counter-culture is a key aspect of his theatrical practice. He is also a writer for various cultural and artistic platforms, specializing in artistic and cultural reviews of artworks and cultural phenomena. Anas holds a Master’s degree in Theater Studies from the Jesuit University of Beirut and a Bachelor’s degree in Literature and Drama from the University of Arts and Technology in Lebanon. Additionally, he holds a diploma in Cultural Policy and the Sociology of Arts from the University of Groningen.
